The Vontron membrane has a 50Psi output, which is the same pressure as most homes. This means you can expect to achieve a 20% higher RO water output than most other membranes that need a pressure of 60-70Psi (4-5 bar).

Vontron membranes are easily removed from their housings, no need for pliers or grips, each membrane has a hexagonal thread on the end, simply insert an Allen key, turn, and remove the membrane.

Vontronreverse osmosis membrane elements for home drinking water are the most reliable. Advanced membrane technology and automated fabrication allow these elements to keep consistent performance and are suitable for long distance transportation

Operating conditions

Elements contain preservative solution, therefore the permeate from the first hour of operation should be discarded; this is to flush the protective solution from the elements.

Features:
◦50US Gallons per day, 7.9 Litres per hour at optimum output
◦12" x 1.8" RO Membrane
◦The standard storage solution contains one weight percent sodium bisulfite or sodium metabisulfite (food grade). For short term storage of one week, one weight percent sodium metabisulfite solution is adequate for inhibiting biological growth.

b Refer to Cleaning Guidelines of ANDE-AMF.

c Under certain conditions, the presence of free chlorine and other oxidizing agents will cause premature membrane failure. Since oxidation damage is not covered under warranty, AMFOR recommends removing residual free chlorine   by pre-treatment prior to membrane exposure. Please refer to technical bulletin ANDE-AMF for more information
